I invited a few non-traditional podcast guests on for today's episode. These little people are so amazing. See, I picked my kids up from school the other day and thought, "I wonder just how much they know about nonprofits and what we as individuals can do to support them." As much as I talk to them about my work and what I do I wasn't even sure if they had a clue.
Here's my question for you, how much do the people you love know about the amazing work you do?
As we take time to celebrate with our family and friends inbetween conversations, or even just in moments when you need to change the subject ask them what they know.
Our families and supporters love us (well hopefully they do anyway). Start at the beginning and learn what they know about your organization so you can fill in the gaps empowering them to build awareness for your organization in their next conversation.
See nonprofits from the perspective of 6 year old Aveleen and 9 year old Ellis and how they would change the world to make it a better place in this fun episode.
